A Successful Day at the Fair Ends With a Safe Ride Home!
The Thumbs Up Guys are giving away $5 Uber vouchers to help everyone get to and from the fair safely this season! Fill out the form below and we’ll send you a voucher to use on a ride to or from the South Carolina State Fair, which runs October 15 through 25, 2026, at the State Fairgrounds in Columbia, or the Coastal Carolina Fair, which runs October 29 through November 8, 2026, at Exchange Park in Ladson.
Fair nights are some of the best nights of the year in South Carolina: fried food, carnival rides, concerts, and memories with friends and family. But with thousands of cars packing the roads around Williams-Brice Stadium and Highway 78, crowded parking lots, and late closing times, getting home can be the riskiest part of the night. We want every fairgoer to have a great time and make it home safe, so we’re taking one thing off your plate: the ride.
“This is our first year at the South Carolina State Fair and our second year sponsoring the Coastal Carolina Fair, and we’re proud to support two traditions that give so much back to our state. With offices in Columbia and North Charleston, we’re just down the road from both fairgrounds, and these are our neighbors. If you’re enjoying the beer garden at the Coastal Carolina Fair, plan your ride home before your first drink. The best fair night is one that ends with everyone home safe,” said partner Brandon Dawson.
Come find us at our booth at the main entrance of the SC State Fair or at the beer garden at the Coastal Carolina Fair for free Thumbs Up Guys swag and daily merch giveaways. Follow us on Instagram @ThumbsUpGuys to stay up to date on our giveaways!
*One voucher per person. Vouchers will be sent to the email address provided on this form and are valid for rides to or from the South Carolina State Fair at the State Fairgrounds in Columbia or the Coastal Carolina Fair at Exchange Park in Ladson.
